The Pure Cricket Academy has been set up with the goal of providing high quality cricket coaching to boys and girls of any ability.  Founded by current Sussex CCC opening batsman, Chris Nash, in partnership with ECB Level 3 and 4 coaches, the focus is on fun but also learning new and exciting cricket skills to improve your game.  Our mission is to develop young cricketers in Sussex by giving them access to the best coaches possible, we often have guest coaches that include ex internationals, current and ex first class players.

Chris Nash

Chris is the current Sussex CCC opening batsman. Having made his Sussex debut in 2002 he has gone on to become one County cricket's most consistent performers. He has also represented England Lions, Otago Volts, Auckland Aces and Loughborough University. He spends much of his winters coaching abroad and in the UK and is passionate about developing the next future Sussex and England star!

Mark Nash

Mark has been involved in cricket since the age of 9 and played Sussex representative cricket throughout the age groups and also for Sussex 2nd XI.  He represented Loughborough University and played for Horsham CC 1st XI for over 15 years and is a current MCC playing member. As a left arm spinner himself, Mark's speciality is working with young spin bowlers, and is a qualified ECB Level 3 Coach. Mark is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Nick Creed

Nick is currently Head of Cricket at Hurstpierpoint College and also a Housemaster. He is a qualified ECB Level 3 coach and for the past three years has been coaching the county under 12s and 13s. Nicks playing career has seen him carry out 12th man duties for Sussex 1st team, play county 2nd team and academy cricket and be selected for the British universities squad. He is also a full playing member of the MCC. Nick has a real passion for building technical, tactical and physical confidence in each and every player he coaches.

Tina Towler

Tina is a ECB Level 2 coach who works at Hurstpierpoint College and Ansty CC developing the girls cricket programme.  Tina's energy and enthusiasm for the game and her background in strength & conditioning and sports rehabilitation and therapy provide an integral part of our camps.
